Winter Warmth

December, 2025

Dear Friends,

Winter is upon us and we are once again assisting programs and people across the Slavic world. These have been some challenging years for so many but especially during the colder months.

As 2025 draws to a close and we move into 2026 the Gospel is going forth at an incredible rate. Churches are filled and outreach opportunities seem to open at every turn. Hope is the message we bring through Christ Jesus. The story of Jesus’ birth and life never grows old and is accepted by all age groups, regardless of nationality and background.

Immanuel’s Child Christmas Star program exceeded last year’s giving for which we are extremely thankful. Not even a postal strike could stop what God had planned. Thousands of children will hear the Gospel, receive a Bible, a small gift, along with food and clothes for their family. Thank you to each one who donated!

As winter lingers on many deal with the basics of heat, hydro, and hope. We are all confronted with rising costs of living day by day as well. I know that it is a stretch to give to others and many are making the same request. If possible, we are seeking to provide simple needs of wood, perhaps a generator, and food where it is limited. Our pastors and their people seek to be a blessing and cannot do so without our help for Winter Warmth.

We partner with places like Ukrainian Baptist Theological Seminary where the students developed 21 WeCare Centers strategically located all over the country. They partner with community leaders and reach out into homes. Dozens of new churches have been started. Other partners we assist deal with those in war zones who need help and hope. The stories are endless with a cry for trauma counseling and various forms of aid.

Your gifts during these cold winter months are both appreciated and welcomed by a hurting world. Those in the Slavic part of the globe say thank you for not only thinking about them but praying and responding in a tangible way.

Spring will be here before we know it and already we have a good size group ready to return overseas and continue with the work projects we have developed over the last two years. If you have a desire to consider such a venture, please contact our office.

May you know God’s blessing,
